Let's say you have a eleven objects to integrate into the room. Pick an accent color from your color scheme. Let's say it's green. Start by painting the first two a medium shade of green. Add a little bit of white to the green and paint three with that. Now add more white and paint three more. Now add more white and finish up the last three. Place around the room in groups of three or one standing alone.
The room will be exciting. The different objects will be interesting and stimulating but not disparate and confusing.
