Sock Knitting: Will a sock hands-knitted on #2 (US) needles using sock yarn & 72 stitches.....?
.....stretch enuff to suit a size 12, E width feet on the guy? They are doing stretch, right, to some degree? I am using Deborah Norville's sock yarn in superwash made of woll. Interesting help - I have ripped the sucker out now about 5 occasions......
To be sure with sewhappy. I personally use 56 stitches its my socks, despite the fact that some designs demand more. The socks get too sloppy basically use even 60 stitches since i like these to fit fairly snugly. My ft measure 8 inches round the ball from the feet--I knit 7 sts towards the inch--voila--56 stitches! And That I ripped my first sock about 5 occasions, too. I believed that by knitting the same as 2 1/2 pairs, I learned how you Can Knit a sock.
