I Need Help Translating Old School Terms Into Modern Knitting Terms?
What does "yon" mean?
What does "yrn fwd" mean? I know it says Yarn Forward but what does that mean as far as technique?
Also what does "rib" mean? As in Rib 10 and Turn? What does it mean to Rib 10 and Turn?
And last what does "work 2tog" mean? Does this mean knit 2 together?
I really want to do this pattern or at least try. Here is the corresponding pattern....the creator wasn't much help for translation as you can see from posts...

So is yarn forward almost like the "purl" technique?
Yon means "Yarn over needle".
The technique for a yarn forward is to hold the yarn to the front of the next stitch.
Rib is usually a knit one purl one pattern. If you are ribbing 10 stitches and turning, if there are still stitches left on the needle when you're turning the work, that's called knitting short rows.
Work two together means to follow the pattern for that row. If it's a knit row, knit the two together. If it's a purl row, purl them.
