Ideas for High School Knitting Club?
I'm currently the president of my high school knitting club and I need some ideas for things for my fellow club members to do. The activities do not necessarily need to deal with knitting, just getting to know each other and spending time with each other.
Also, I need some info. on knitting for charities.
And, we're going to make t-shirts and we need a catchy phrase to go on them, so far our ideas are Shiz Knit, Close Knit and Knit Knacks. If you have any imput on these phrases or if you have any other ideas, that would be great!

You could get find some charity knitting sites, but it might be more fun to identify local spots that could use your work. You could make blankets for premies at the hospital or items for foster kids or ones who've lost everything in fires. You could do gloves or mittens for retirement or nursing homes as well as lap blankets for folks in wheelchairs.
You could contact any worthy cause and ask if they'd like some hand-knitted items to sell at a fund-raiser or raffle off.
What about the "The Cable Girls" ? Making cables is probably your next step in knitting anyway. I guess if you're coed, you could be "Cable Guys and Girls" or "Girls and Guys".
