Vague Ambition Crocheting & Knitting

With a voice that breaks the balance
Of a needle pointed carousel
I watch her spin with limp regret
And lace the sky with
Alphabets

While Dancing through the fields of grace
And baring all the wind forgives
From flowing tattered dressing gowns
Which chase the sky
And tease the ground

The rag dolls fall above her
And collect like melting honey
As they form a mountain
On my tongue and grind the words
I long to touch

I only saw her beauty bared
When she tweaked her lips from
The hallway stairs
Now I’m left to feed the rhyme laced sky
With all the words she trailed behind
