How much fabric will I need for the following....?
I am having a few pillows made for my living room and outdoor space.
I need to know how much fabric I will need for the following:
- 4 bolster pillows (2 different fabrics will be used for these)
- 4 16x16 pillows (2 different fabrics will be used for these)
- 2 smaller pillows about 8 x 12 (2 different fabrics used for this)

Hard to tell you since you don't give dimensions for the bolsters or the width of the fabric you are using. But I'll make some assumptions and explain below.
For the square pillows each piece will be 18" (allowing an inch for the seam on each side) so you will have four 18" squares of one fabric and four or the other. Most upholstery fabric is 54 inches wide so you could cut three across the width meaning you would need one yard of each of the two fabrics to cut these. That would give you two scraps left over that are 18" by 36". These scraps are big enough to make the two 8" x 12" pillows.
If the bolsters are 10" across the round end and 32" long (which is a typical sofa bolster size) you woulld be cutting 4 rectangles that are about 36" by 36" (allowing for a flap for a zipper) so you would need 4 yards for that (or two yards of each of the two fabrics.) When those are cut , the leftover 18" strip of fabric left over at the sides would give more than enough to cut out the eight 12" circles for the ends.
So, you need 3 yards of each fabric or a total of 6 yards of at least 54" wide fabric.
