Where can I find a Thomas the tank engine and friends knitting pattern by Alan Dart?
I have been looking for his knitting pattern for a while now and can't seem to find it anywhere except once on Ebay and then it's very much out of my price range!
Is there someone who has it and is willing to sell it or knows of a different source?
I have tried Ravelry, unless someone replies that they have it (and want to sell it), it's a dead end.
Just fyi, I know there is an enhanced pattern version out there. That is NOT the pattern I want.

Is that the one you want or the one you don't want? Since it's readily available, I assume that's the unwanted one.
If you're looking for the Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends Toys (Intarsia booklet) that included Thomas, Percy, and James as well as Sir Topham Hatt, the "Fat Controller," be aware that the rights to sell that booklet of designs were licensed to Alan Dart for a specific period of time, and the license has expired. Therefore, the copies of the booklet that were sold before the license expired are the only copies available. They would now be "collectables," and the value goes into an open-market transaction. So eBay and other auction sites would likely be your best bet unless you happen to find one in a thrift shop or tag sale.
